My Story

All my cakes are made with the finest ingredients and I take the greatest pride in making sure every scrumptious treat is as tasty as it looks! I bake all of my cakes from my home kitchen, and decorate them in my little bakery at the back of our house. I am very proud to say that I have a 5* food hygiene rating, and work meticulously to keep everything perfect.

Me! The Bakery behind the Cakery

Jill Bestwick

Baking has been a huge passion of mine for most of my life. I vividly remember making chocolate cakes when I was very small. After a career in IT for 7 years, and moving around between various different jobs, I decided to pursue what makes me happy. So, in 2018 I decided to take the plunge and start up my own little Cakery Bakery. Thanks to all of your support and so many repeat customers, I am into my fifth year of caking!

Also under my employ is my 21 year old son, Chief Taster Officer: To put your mind at ease, knowing that your cake is as delicious as possible, Connor takes on the task of eating every off-cut of cake that crosses his path (I don't hear many complaints!)
